Counterweights & Test Weights

Mars Metal™ manufactures custom and production counterweights to suit your application.

Let us help you improve your design; narrower, shorter, wider or higher, from one off to production runs - we do it all. With the use of lead our counterweight products can be manufactured smaller in size than steel counterweights while maintaining its required weight. Alternatively, we can maintain a counterweight size and make them 40% heavier than steel. If you have a problem with size or space, let our highly trained sales department help you. Mars Metal™ has long been a leader in the production of lead counterweights. Our facility is capable of easily handling large counterweights in excess of 150,000 lbs.

Take advantage of our design and engineering know-how and allow us to design the weight that's best for you. When required, we can fabricate the steel canister or container, fill with lead to desired weight, cap the pour holes, grind and clean up the fabrication, so it's ready for painting. Our lead counterweights can be shipped fully encapsulated in steel that is environmentally friendly and safe. Available with lifting eyes that can be recessed, removable screw in type or with fork pockets incorporated into it. Painted or unpainted, we ship them out fully assemble and ready to use. Whether it's modular, stackable, bolted or a special one off custom design were always happy to help you.
