Elevator Test Weights

Mars Metal™ engineers, designs and builds elevator test weights. They can be customized to suit your application or choose from our standard portable test weights.

Two types available, please specify what you require:  
a) Individual Weights  b) Lead Filled Box

Standard Portable Test Weight Carts: These consist of a two wheeled cart with a steel box lead filled measuring approximately 12” square weighing 500 lbs. Alternatively, an open top 12” square box with 10 individual lead plates 10” x 10.5” x 1"@ 42 lbs each with handles that can be removed, is also available. Both cart styles can be easily maneuvered around with our push handle. Units are mounted to an independent axle with rubber wheels mounted on them and painted matte black with the capacity stamped onto box. All carts are designed to nest into each other to provide a space savings. These carts are ideal where a smaller cart dimension size is needed over an all steel weight cart that will be much larger in size.

Note: Individual weights are lead-casted weights with handles and should be for incremental use and handled with care to avoid damaging them.
